Fair Privacy Policy V1

This Privacy Policy explains how Fair, a product operated by Conyo LLC ("Fair," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Fair.

Fair is designed around a simple principle: trust is the product. Your Fair account remains yours over time and may participate in more than one relationship workspace. Each relationship workspace is separate. Relationship history, Relationship Memory, and AI context stay with the relationship workspace where they were created.

Overview

Fair helps people create shared agreements, goals, check-ins, contributions, and relationship reflections. Some features use AI to provide summaries, prompts, reflections, or conversation guidance based on information available in the relationship workspace.

AI-generated content is informational and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misinterpreted. Conversation Guidance is intended to support conversations, not replace your own judgment or decisions.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information created as you use the product, limited account and billing information, and technical information needed to operate and improve Fair.

We do not intentionally collect private relationship content for analytics.

Account Information

We may collect account information such as:

• Name or display name
• Email address
• Authentication identifiers
• Account preferences
• Subscription or billing ownership status
• Account deletion request status
• Support communications you send to us

Relationship Workspace Data

Fair organizes shared activity into relationship workspaces. A relationship workspace may include two people and the information they choose to create together.

Relationship workspace data belongs to that workspace. It is not automatically moved, merged, or reused in a different relationship workspace.

Relationship workspace content may contain sensitive personal information that users voluntarily choose to provide, including information about relationships, finances, health, beliefs, or other private matters. Fair processes this information only as reasonably necessary to provide requested features, maintain the relationship workspace, provide AI and Premium functionality requested by users, protect security, comply with law, and perform the other purposes disclosed in this Policy.

Agreements

Fair may store agreements, proposals, confirmations, summaries, and related timestamps that you or your partner create. These records are used to help the relationship workspace remember what has been shaped together.

Goals

Fair may store goals, goal type, progress, status, notes, and related timestamps that you or your partner create. Goals are used to help the relationship workspace stay oriented around shared outcomes.

Contributions

Fair may store contribution records such as time or money entries, dates, categories, amounts, and notes that users choose to enter. Contributions are used to show shared activity and progress inside the relationship workspace.

Check-Ins / Pulses

Fair may store lightweight check-ins or relationship pulses that users choose to submit. These signals help Fair show recent shared activity and may support Premium reflections.

Relationship Memory

Relationship Memory is built only from activity inside one relationship workspace.

Relationship Memory is not transferred into future relationship workspaces. Archived relationships are never reused for a new partner or relationship workspace. If you start a new relationship workspace, Fair starts fresh.

AI Features

Some Premium features, including Conversation Guidance, may use AI to create reflections, prompts, summaries, or practical conversation guidance. These features may use available relationship workspace data and Relationship Memory derived from that data.

To generate AI-powered responses, Fair may transmit the information reasonably necessary for that request to third-party AI service providers acting on Fair's behalf.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misinterpreted. You are responsible for evaluating AI-generated content before relying on it. AI features are not legal, medical, mental-health, financial, or other professional advice.

Fair does not use users' private relationship content to train general-purpose AI models. Third-party AI service providers may process information on Fair's behalf only to provide the requested functionality, subject to their terms and our agreements with them.

Notifications

Fair may store in-app notification records tied to real shared activity, account state, or relationship workspace state. Notification records may include notification type, recipient account, read or dismissed status, timestamps, and routing information.

Premium Subscription Information

Premium is relationship-based. One subscription can unlock Premium for both partners in one active relationship workspace. Each Premium subscription has one billing owner, which is one Fair account.

We may store operational subscription information such as:

• Information identifying the account responsible for billing
• Relationship workspace receiving Premium
• Premium access and subscription status
• Provider customer or subscription identifiers
• Billing period dates
• Cancellation status

Payment processors may collect payment details. Fair does not store full credit card numbers.

Analytics and Diagnostics

Fair may collect limited analytics and diagnostic information to understand product behavior, reliability, and launch performance. Analytics track product behavior and state transitions, not private relationship content.

Fair does not intentionally include agreement text, goal text, notes, partner messages, pulse answer text, AI reflections, prompts, responses, relationship IDs, user IDs, emails, or other sensitive identifiers in analytics.

Aggregated and De-Identified Information

Fair may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information for lawful purposes such as analytics, research, product improvement, reliability, security, and future business operations, provided individuals cannot reasonably be identified. This does not allow Fair to sell users' private relationship content.

Cookies and Local Storage

Fair may use browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies for authentication, preferences, app state, analytics support, and security. You may be able to control some browser storage through your browser settings, but disabling it may affect how Fair works.

How Information Is Used

We use information to:

• Provide and operate Fair
• Maintain relationship workspaces
• Show agreements, goals, contributions, check-ins, and shared history
• Generate Relationship Memory from activity inside a relationship workspace
• Provide Premium reflections and insights
• Create and manage in-app notifications
• Process subscriptions and billing status
• Improve reliability, security, and product quality
• Provide support
• Comply with legal obligations

Sharing With Service Providers

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Fair, such as:

• Hosting and database providers
• Authentication providers
• Payment processors
• Analytics providers
• AI providers for Premium reflections and Conversation Guidance
• Customer support or diagnostic tools

We require service providers to use information only to perform services for Fair, subject to their terms and our agreements with them. We do not sell private relationship content.

Fair does not sell personal information, private relationship content, or sensitive relationship information. Fair does not use personal information or sensitive relationship information for targeted advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Fair is designed around subscription-supported services. If additional monetization methods are introduced in the future, they will be implemented transparently, consistently with this Privacy Policy, and without selling users' private relationship content.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Fair data. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. You should use a strong password and protect access to your account.

Data Retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide Fair, maintain relationship workspaces, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, and support billing or security needs.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and whether a relationship workspace is active or archived.

Account Deletion

You may schedule deletion of your Fair account. Fair may require recent reauthentication before accepting an account deletion request. Scheduled deletion includes a grace period configured by Fair and shown in the product. You may cancel scheduled deletion before processing begins.

Account deletion can be complicated because relationship workspaces may contain shared data from more than one person. If one person deletes their account, we may preserve shared relationship workspace records, archived relationship history, billing records, security records, fraud prevention records, and other records needed for legal, financial, operational, or compliance reasons.

If deletion processing reaches an active relationship workspace, Fair may archive that relationship workspace rather than deleting shared history for the other person. Deleting a Fair account or ending or archiving a relationship workspace does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Users must cancel platform subscriptions through the platform where the subscription was purchased. Cancellation stops future renewal, and Premium access generally continues through the paid billing period. Website and Stripe subscription handling may follow Fair's website billing and deletion processes, subject to applicable law. Fair may retain billing and transaction records where permitted or required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, financial compliance, and operational reasons.

Archived Relationship Workspaces

Ending a relationship in Fair archives the relationship workspace. It does not automatically delete both people’s accounts, merge histories, or transfer Relationship Memory to another relationship workspace.

Archived relationship data may remain stored according to our retention policy. Relationship Memory stops updating for archived relationships and is not used to generate insights for future relationship workspaces.

International Users

Fair may be operated from the United States or other locations where we or our service providers process data. By using Fair, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence, where privacy laws may differ.

We use reasonable safeguards for international processing and transfers appropriate to the nature of Fair and the service providers involved. Additional rights may apply depending on your location.

U.S. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of certain information, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling where applicable. Because Fair does not currently engage in sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling, there may be nothing to opt out of for those activities.

To make a privacy request, contact us at support@assumein.com. We may need to verify your identity and relationship to the account before completing a request. You may appeal denial of a privacy request by replying to the decision or emailing support@assumein.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject. Some information may be retained where permitted or required for legal, security, fraud prevention, financial, shared-workspace, or operational reasons.

Children's Privacy

Fair is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information to Fair, contact us at support@assumein.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in a reasonable way, such as through the app or by updating the effective date.
